My sciatica is making me feel about 20 years older than I am. I’m considering surgery as a last resort. Any information would be appreciated.
I have bulging discs and chronically degenerative discs in my lower back ( S1, L3,L4,L5). I have been told not to do anything by my doctor, (It has been 8 weeks now), but I am rapidly putting on weight, any suggestions about gentle exercises that will help me lose the extra kilos whilst I have this injury. I have started a weight loss program, but I need some exercise….. Please help..
Ok so im kinda outta shape and i need to get back in to shape by October for JV basketball. No of any good exercises?
I’m 20 weeks pregnant and sit behind a desk 9 hours a day, 5 days a week. My back is so sore every minute of the day, and every day of the week – even hurts when I lay down to go to bed. Any good remedies for helping to ease the pain?
I’ve had pain off and on in the area of my middle upper back between my shoulder blades for a while now…what are the best exercises to do to help strengthen that area of the back to make it less susceptible to repeat injury? Part of the problem I think is the fact that I’ve been told I have some scoliosis in my spine which must make me favour a certain side during cardio/lifting, causing the pain.
I’m 22 years old and found out I had scoliosis when i was 12 years old. I am finally bracing myself that I will have to go through with it and just get it over with although I cannot afford the surgery. Does anyone know how I can get assistance or help paying for back surgery?
OK, a friend of mine who is a missionary, needs to have back surgery. I’ve already talked with someone at the Laser Spine Institute in Tampa Florida and all they need is the assurance that this surgery will be paid for. I just need to know how and where I can get some financial help with this.
I stand on a hard floor for 8 hours a day (everyday) at work. By the time I go home my back is hurting so bad I find it hard to stand up-right and walk. Back belts are not allowed. Is there anything I can do to ease the pain while I’m working?
