I have FOUR dislocated discs in L3, L4, L5, and S1. If I were to get surgery for that, how long will it take before I’m able to stand, walk, or sit?
My doc said anywhere up to 100,000.00 and 8-12 weeks off work? Is this correct?

Im getting lower lumbar surgery for a herniated disk and want to know how long I’ll be on bed rest for. My neurosurgeon said I shouldnt work for 3-4 weeks but I dont think I’ll be able to take off for a month. Does it really take that long?
I would like to know from people who’ve actually had the surgery how long they were out. My job isn’t really strenuous at all. No heavy lifting.
My husbands uncle is in the hospital right now as i type this and he’s having surgery at 1pm to have his apendix removed. They are going to do it with lazer surgery first and if that don’t work they will do the regular surgery. He wants to return to work tomorrow. He works 3rd shift at walmart. There’s no way I would return to work the next day. He’s crazy…Can you tell me what i should tell him. Thanks. I need positive answers please.
my friend had a herniated disc in his back and had surgery in january, he is still taking vicodin sometimes. it is a lesser dose than he was originally taking, and its not all the time. do u think its been to long and there is a problem?
I have been having problems with my back since November and I have been doing pt twice a week, and I think it’s making it worse. My back specialist last week told me that if it didn’t improve may want to think about surgery. I’m 27 years old and I don’t want to live the rest of my life on a pain scale of 9 for the rest of my life even on pain killers.
