Disc Replacement Surgery Have There Been Improvements Made In This Treatment?

I posted a question about disc replacement about a month ago. Does anyone know if there have been any improvements made in the artificial disc? Like everything else, cars, aircraft, etc… there is always room for improvement. Has the design of the artificial disc themselves been improved? Have there been any improvements in the surgical procedure used to install artificial disc?

    Why dont you google it? When an aunt of mine went to knee surgery she found a support group sight and they showed her pictures of thier surgeries and told her what to expect for pain and how to handle it as well as possible.
