I had three micros on the same disk. None of them worked. Had to go with fusion.
I was feeling good until it herniated again. Give yourself a good 6 months to heal!

Hate to say this, but that's like asking everybody to draw the wind. I'm a PT and I see people in the clinic that are back to work in 3 weeks and some that are not even close after 3 months. Everybodys symptoms are different, because everybodys back is a little different and everybodys mindset it a little different.
When I worked in an orthopedic office with a back surgeon, he would tell his post-surg patients that full recovery could be anywhere between 6 months and 2 years.
My best advice: don't approach the procedure as the ultimate fix, there will still be some amount of pain, and work hard at the P.T. especially addressing trunk stabilization exercises.

RELAX Dear
You will be absolutely fine.
Intially you will be under anelgesics and then you will feel slight to moderate pain till couple of weeks
Later, improve you activities follow proffessional instructions and as you get back to daily activities of life you will be fine.
Probably you might feel numbness, that's temporary.
Take Care.
