If Someone Has Had Quadrupal Coronary Bypass Surgery And A Stroke, Can They Go Back To Work?
So my mom was wondering, after having quadrupal coronary bypass surgery, and a stroke if it was okay to go back to work. She is worried about our monitary situation, and at this point is considering going back to work.
I would appreciate any answers or advice you all can give us.
Thanks so much.

It depends whether she is ambulatory ( meaning able to use arms & legs to move & do things ) & if her speech and/or hearing was unaffected. If she’s able to move and talk, she should be OK to return to work, unless the work is physically demanding.

It really depends on a number of factors, such as permanent damage done by the stroke, the type of work she does, the number of hours she plans to work, and the strength of her heart!!
There is is really only one person who can definitively answer this question, and that is her doctor. She should definitely see him before thinking of returning to work!

Depend on what type of work she’s doing.
I would recommended light works / low stress job..
make sure she’s regularly follow up with her cardiologist and keep her other medical problem like blood pressure under controlled (goal is < 130/80) .
