I’m Looking To Go Out Of Country For Surgery, How Does This Work With Cost And Medical Coverage?
I’d prefer to go to Rome, but I’ll go anywhere that will take me. I have disc degenerative disease and need mt L4 disc replaced. I refuse to have fusion surgery, I’m trying to get the artificial replacement surgery done but I’m on government medi-cal and we all know how screwed our country’s health care system is.
I have heard of people getting free medical care outside of the U.S. some countries have universal health care and will extend that to visitors. My question is what country can I get free surgery in? and what do I need to do to go about doing that??
Where can I find a surgeon to perform what I need?

My father had spine surgery in India. He feels 100% better. No one wants to have a surgery, but we knew He was in pain and we wanted his pain to go away on a long-term basis. We started to investigate his options on internet and received quotes from Dheeraj Bojwani Consultants which was fraction of what quoted by doctors in our area. And we decided to go to India for his surgery. Today 3 months after the surgery he feel no pain and stiffness is gradually going away. You need to do a lot of research with each individual country before you make you rChoice. Be sure you know what is the best choice before you leave and go outside the United States
