I am a mom of 2 girls. 3 years and 1 years old and 8 months pregnant with my son.
With my first daughter I never had false and never went into labor since they induced me... even then when they contractions started it was more like menstrual cramping then got gradually worse.
With my second daughter never had braxton hicks. The day before she came, I was getting some strange cramping in my lower abdomen and back, it was light not even menstrual cramp pain just tightening and relaxing. They never got more than 20 minutes apart. It went on all night, it never got more intense or more frequent. I called the doctor and they said not to bother till they were regular at 10 minutes apart and hurt more than menstrual cramps. So I slept on the couch and it went on all night. Next morning I felt nothing. I got some loose stool, I felt nauseous and skipped breakfast. I was feeding my 2 year old at the time, and she was in a high chair. I lifted her out when she was done and my water broke like the Hoover dam. I still had absolutely no pain and there were no contractions. So I called in and they told me to come since my water broke, I took a shower, got a bag packed for my husband.... tootled around for a hour and then drove myself and my daughter to the hospital. NO one knew I was going to have a baby less than 5 hours later hahah. My husband met me there and was like all nervous. Everyone asked me if I was in pain and not to be afraid to say so... I didnt have any, I had regular contractions but they never hurt more than slight cramping. So no one made any rush to check me that often. The monitor wasnt even picking up some of them. About 2 hours later a resident came in to check my cervix and about dropped her stuff on the ground. She looks at me and says well your ready to have a baby I think. I was like WHAT? I was 9 cm dilated and a head had dropped down. I remember saying BUT IT DOESNT HURT WHATS WRONG... no one could explain it. However in the next 20 minutes a contraction came that took my breath away and had me squealing in pain. I was like WHAT WAS THAT.... wow. In the next hour it was excruciating. I got noooo medicine not even a little Tylenol. Thankfully it only took an hour and 3 pushes and she was out. A nurse and a resident delivered her because the doctor was not aware of how close i was and was busy with another. I never even reached 10 cm but she came just fine with no problems.
With my son, I have had Braxton-hicks since month 6. The come and go, light, and annoying, mostly in my back but sometimes high up in my stomach like its stretching sideways. I even went to urgent care 2 times but my cervix is closed and I am not effaced.
Sounds like your in early stage, it could go a day or even two, and it could just change in intensity and frequency. If they get any closer together or more painful for any reason. I would get ready but dont go in until they are more like 10 or 15 minutes apart and they are starting to hurt more. Everyone is different for pain tolerance so its hard to gauge when its serious. Dont be embarrassed to go in too early the hospitals are used to it and its better to always be safe than sorry. Also be sure to go in if you think your water broke or you know for sure.

I was really tired, had a very sore back. I layed around in bed the whole day hoping that would help. But as the day and especially as the night went on the back pain got even worse. Though that was the contractions themselves. I just didn't realize it. Never had a baby before, never had back labor. I tried hot showers, heating pads. You name it. Whatever I could think of to get the pain to go away. By around 8AM I just couldn't take it anymore. Nothing helped and it kept getting worse. So I woke my husband up. He called my doctor and they said based on the description of my pain it could be contractions. So they moved my appointment up to 9AM. BUT I was in so much pain. I didn't want to wait. So,we just went on up to my hospital's labor and delivery floor. Turns out it was labor.

(*BH contractions won't regulate. And they don't get more and more painful as time goes on. So,if you're experiencing anything like that or something just doesn't feel/seem right. Call your doctor.

1. Before i went into labour i felt fine i guess but i did have a feeling something was going to happen within the next day or 2. On the Saturday i had spent the whole day out with my mum and in the evening had gone to a restaurant and kept feeling alot of pressure..i was so nervous my waters were going to break or something! Anyway went home and spoke to my partner, he said he was going to his cousins party and i told him to keep his phone with him at all times, he said 'what, do you think something will happen soon?' to which i replied yes! i do.. Anyway i went to bed and woke up at 5am and went to call my partner to ask where he was or if he was just going to stay over at his cousins house, afterwards i tried to go back to sleep got a bad period pain every 15 mins or so which kept me up for a further 2 hours before i realised they were contractions...had my daughter 2 1/2 days later after a long painful labour!

2. My contractions felt like bad period pains and the pain was felt in my back and hips. My bump didnt hurt or anything but just went tight with each contraction.

I hadnt any any braxton hicks or signs anything was going to happen so was convinced i would go over, also because it was my first child aswell. I went into labour when i was 38 weeks & 6 days and gave birth when i was 39 weeks & 1 day
