What Are Good Exercises For Herniated Discs In The Lower Back?
I’ve been swimming but I would like do some more lower back strengthening exercises as well as more upper body exercises that would help strengthen the rest of my back because I have mild arthritis. Thanks

Did you get the herniated disc fixed? If so, squats are the best exercise for axial load the spine and hip. Of course, you should go very light first and have picture-perfect form. I would suggest talking to your doctor on what you should do and meeting with an exercise specialist to help you out. If you haven’t fixed your herniated disc, I would do so asap. Also, swimming actually decreases bone strength because very little gravitational forces can act on your spine and hip in the water.
Good Luck
