Try some acid suppressing medications like "ranitidine'(this is the drug name, it may come under any commercial name). Take one tablet at bedtime. If you are obese try to reduce weight, but exercising will be fruitful anyways. Give attention to your sleeping posture , you should sleep in a manner so that upper part of body is slightly upright, use some more pillows. Drink lots of water. Avoid fatty, heavy meals, spicey foods, tea, coffee, aerated drinks, esp at night. You hvnt told your age, association of pain with exertion, appettite, or any other complaints. That would be useful. Does it happen more if you eat real fatty foods? You may be able to help alleviate your symptoms by not eating foods that are real fatty. It would be a good idea to get it checked out just to make sure. There are many things that can refer pain to this area.
