Whats Surgery Like For A Small Fatty Tumor On The Lower Back?
I’m 17 and I found out I have a fatty tumor on my back and it’s causing some minor problems and I would like to be rid of it cause it hurts and keeps me from doing a lot, but I’m afraid that surgery for this will hurt or something. I just want to know what it’s like having surgery and what I’ll have to do for the surgery and so on. Thanks in advance.

Surgery is not an easy thing I have learned. It is something intended to improve or help correct ,remove any abnormality or excess unnatural or unintended item in the body or mouth/head at times. I would say there is some recovery time needed, temporary soreness, and some possible physical therapy if this is more extensive than thought. I would remember that recovery in surgery means progress and that the discomfort then can be handled with pain pills given and rest if instructed to. Think of it as improving the quality of your life and not having further set backs with that as well later on now for you.
It is not fun to have any surgery but the results can be lasting freedom from pain and discomfort from when something is removed.
You are asleep (sedated) during this so any adjustment or pain felt later is part of the healing process and will improve as time goes on.
