Why does my back hurt when I bend down?

Howdy! Here is a good back pain question. Please feel free to add your comments to the mix!
I’m 16 and not very active. I bent down to pick something up off the floor and got an instant pain to my back. Now, three hours later, everytime I bend even a little I get the sharp pain again..why?
We really hope that this back pain question and answers will improve your knowledge on this subject.
Have a nice day!

You have a tight muscle in your back that gets extra pressure put on it when you bend over to make it go into pain. You can free up that muscle so that stops happening by releasing it and here’s how to do that:
Back:
(do from a sitting position)
Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder, fingers over the back and the palm in the front and firmly press on them and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your body forward and to the outside of your left leg, keeping your left arm fairly straight as you do. When you reach your lap remain there for another 10 seconds, release the pressure but rest there for another 30 seconds. Then reverse your hand positions and do your right side.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.

If your a girl you may need a new bra. A playtex bra give good back support, get the comfort strap. But its really true that your back hurts right wear you describe it if your bra is not giving you support. It is possible you pulled a muscle and if thats the case you will need a doctor to check it out becase he will feel the tightened muscle and give you a prescription for a muscle relaxor. After a couple of times taking those you will be better.
